I’m Mark Rubin. I notice patterns, build models of them, and then test whether those models hold up in the real world.

When I was ten, I decided I’d do something good with my models in my fifties. At fifteen, I used money I earned mowing lawns in 1985 to buy land in West Virginia. I did it to put my name on a deed, a permanent record that could be dated, filed, and inspected. The deed is dated September 24, 1985 (Hardy County, W. Va., Deed Book 187, Page 534). It isn’t a prediction and it isn’t magic. It is a timestamp.

The idea at the center of my work is simple: honey is money. Bees turn light into stored energy, and stored energy and stored work convert into value. Light is honey. Time is honey. That value model connects to Honeylight, my plan for pollinator habitat and regenerative business, which launches in 2027.

I organize what I see through six perspectives: who or what, how many, where, when, how, and why. Looking at a system from all six makes invisible motion visible.
